| Description | Updated the behavior on the touch command that would cause burning in an object being touched by a hot or flaming object, which was disabled in change 8644. This update specifically addresses the issue caused by eolons / phaethons having flaming / hot parts of their bodies and causing flammable things like pibrits to catch on fire when touching them with non-flaming parts of their bodies. If a touch comes from a character, the check on whether or not burning should start will now check for the hot or aflame properties (as before) applying both the exposure of the element and the limb being used to make contact. So eolons' hot blood will no longer be an issue, but they can still catch things on fire by contacting them with their heads. Also reverted change 8612 and gave eolons their magma blood back. |
| Reason | Better burning mechanics. |
| Result | Someday an eolon will be able to light the fuse on their granade with their flaming beard, and that will make this all worth it. |
| Version | lib revision incremented to Ain Soph 2.17.13 |
