| Description | created support for the lux event type of personal unique item. this event type allows atmai to select from a list of artifacts and use lux to link copies to an incarnos. this copy should be permanent, indestructible, unable to be dropped or traded, essentially removed in anyway beyond performing an event lux recycle. there are some certain considerations for this event type; currently items will not resize to the owner, you get a 1:1 copy of the existing item. this means its entirely possible to purchase items an incarnos may not be able to utilize due to size restrictions, or become unable to utilize an item if your incarnos changes size or race later. also the original item must currently be loaded in the game to be selected for purchase, this will eventually be corrected at a later time. not all artifacts are available to be selected for this event type, the current list is ~100 of them. If I've missed one we think should be an option please reach out. Finally, a number of incarnoi may have legacy setups that provide such functionality as this lux event type and will be unable to recycle their choices, these users can reach out for a refund if their item is on the list of available for selection or keep their existing copies as is. |
| Reason | this was an offering performed on/off over the years for long time players, even before i took over. demand is such that it's become a bit of a effort to service those users when they want alterations to their setups (like which incarnos has a copy of their item). now users can handle these types of transactions through the self-service lux management system. |
| Result | users can now manage their own luxed personal unique items without developer intervention |
| Version | lib revision incremented to Ain Soph 2.16.1 |
